Built on the beliefthat design should befelt, lived, and deeply personal.
Derived from the Arabic word for Oasis — WAHA is a contrast to an industry often driven by surface-level aesthetics. We bring genuine, transparent design to spaces across Nairobi and Mombasa, merging creativity with technical precision.

Emotion.
A room is the physical form of a feeling. Before materials, before budgets, we ask one question — how must this space make you feel the moment you walk into it? Every decision afterward answers that one.
We measure light, scale, and color the same way we measure square meters — because all four shape how a body settles in a room.

Function.
Structure comes before surface. Light, circulation, proportion, the way the eye moves across a wall — these are settled before a single finish is chosen. Beauty without these is decoration. With them, it becomes architecture you can live inside.
We draw the bones of a room before we discuss the skin. A pretty room that does not work is a room that will be re-done in three years.
Execution.
Drawings do not finish a room. Trades do. We stay on site until the last skirting is true and the brass is hand-buffed. Intent without execution is just intent — and a client does not live inside a drawing.
A skirting two millimetres out of true reads as wrong before the eye knows why. We catch it before you do.

To grow WAHA into a lifestyle brand and trusted design authority — redefining how people experience space, identity, and everyday living through meaningful design.
To design thoughtful, story-driven spaces that reflect individuality, respect context, and balance beauty with functionality — delivering clarity and technical excellence at every stage.

Fluent in five — faithful to whichever your space asks for.
A house in Mombasa and a boardroom in Westlands speak different vocabularies. We keep them all in the studio.
Modern Contemporary
Clean lines, warm restraint. Rooms that age into themselves.
Mediterranean
Coastal light, hand-applied plaster, brass that softens with use.
Modern Arabic
Quiet arches, geometric calm, the choreography of intimate gathering.
Wabi-Sabi
Honest materials, imperfect beauty, the dignity of wear.
Sustainable
Local sourcing, durable joinery, finishes chosen for the long arc.
Work informed by five disciplines.
Spaces that are not only inspiring, but intelligently designed to last. These disciplines are what make that possible.
Interior Architecture
We understand space structurally — proportion, volume, and the relationship between rooms.
Material Science
Every material is evaluated for performance and durability. We select finishes that age well.
Lighting Design
We design for how light moves through a space across the day — natural and artificial, layered with intent.
Spatial Psychology
Scale, circulation, sight lines, ceiling height — all considered for the emotional effect they produce.
Cultural Integration
We draw from Kenyan craft and coastal heritage — without reducing them to decoration.
Four promises we hold ourselves to — on every project.
Full transparency in process and pricing
Budget alignment up front, written stage sign-offs, costs you can trace — no surprises at execution.
Clear communication at every stage
One point of contact throughout. You always know where the project stands and what comes next.
High standards in design and execution
We hold the same standard on site as we do on paper — from first sketch to the last finished detail.
Respect for your vision, time, and investment
Your brief is not a starting point we drift from. It is the standard everything is measured against.
